About Stephanie

Hi there

I’m an intuitive healer and pragmatic practitioner deeply connected to the physical and energetic dimensions of the world. I blend science with metaphysical wisdom, balancing the practical with the philosophical. My work explores how our health is connected to deeper meaning and purpose in life.

Health and life are inextricably connected.  A life well lived must have health at the foundation.  But health must encompass the entirety of who we are in body, mind, and spirit and cannot be reduced solely to medications, procedures, or data points.

In the tradition of Classical Chinese Medicine, I practice as a bridge between the sacred and the ordinary, the physical and the immaterial. I am your guide, helping you discover the deeper meaning and connections in your health and life journey.

I’m a seeker, radically present and attuned to where you are in life, helping reveal the deeper meaning within your health journey. I help you “shine light in the dark” to navigate life’s inevitable obstacles and find strength in ambiguity and the complexity of health, healing, and wellness. I am a facilitator of transformation.

My Approach

My approach integrates the principles of classical Chinese Medicine and modern science to foster transformative, sustainable change. Through intentional, mindful health practices, I empower you to live a life of purpose and meaning.

Health isn’t just about a diagnosis or a disease—it’s about the person and the life lived. I start with understanding you. I listen, observe, and work out from there, weaving together your story within the context of your challenges. Our biography becomes our biology, and living well and living long means seeing life as our medicine. From this perspective, healing is an ongoing journey of discovery, not a destination.

I offer a process of self-discovery that goes beyond the self to encompass your lineage, environment, and relationships. This isn’t about finding a single truth but opening up a new perspective that focuses on nourishing life rather than fighting disease.

There are no absolute answers, especially when it comes to chronic illness, pain, or even sustaining health and wellness. In my work, we make space for ambiguity and complexity, encouraging grace and self-discovery as you embrace the journey of health and life together.

Let’s discover together how to make health a practice of life itself, guided by nature, intuition, and the wisdom of  Classical Chinese Medicine.

Why This Matters

1. Health as a Journey, Not a Destination

Modern healthcare often prioritizes quick fixes and labels, leaving individuals feeling defined by their diagnoses. My approach reframes health as a lifelong process of discovery, where individuals can find grace in ambiguity and uncover deeper meaning in their experiences.

2. Empowering Resilience

Stress and trauma are inevitable parts of life, but they don’t have to define us. By helping you cultivate resilience through personalized health practices, I empower you to navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and strength.

3. Connecting to Nature

My work is rooted in the principles of nature, helping individuals align with its cycles and rhythms. This connection fosters a deeper sense of belonging and well-being, providing a grounding force in an increasingly disconnected world.

4. Addressing the Root Cause

True healing requires looking beyond surface symptoms to address the underlying imbalances that drive illness. By working with the Five Elements and the bio-energetic principles of Chinese Medicine and Mother Nature, I help individuals uncover and heal these root causes, leading to more sustainable outcomes.

5. Building a Bridge Between Science and Spirituality

Many people are searching for an integrative approach that honors both the scientific and spiritual aspects of health. My work provides a bridge between these worlds, offering practical tools grounded in ancient wisdom and modern science.

  • Open their mind to a new way of relating to the body.

  • Let go of identifying with their illness.

How I work with you.

Nourishing Life, or Yang Sheng Fa, is the foundation of Eastern Medicine. Living with true health is about nourishing body, mind and spirit through the essential elements of optimal diet, mindfulness, healthy emotions and balance of exercise and rest.

I use the framework of the 5 Elements in Chinese Medicine to take you on a journey of self discovery and transformation.

During each session, we will explore Yang Sheng and the art of nourishing life through the 5 Element system of Chinese Medicine and how it can support you in your healing journey no matter what it is you are working on or what your disease or illness is.

Working with me is:

1-Part Treatment

  • This includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutrition.

1-Part Anatomy

  • This is not your typical anatomy lesson! I blend the wisdom of ancient Chinese Medicine with modern understanding of the human body to transform the way you think and relate to your body.

1-Part Coaching

  • Together we bring clarity to the road you need to travel for a Happy Healthy Life and work through and change what keeps getting in the way.

1-Part Inner Cultivation

  • We will look at your beliefs, attitudes and perceptions around your illness and life in general. You will learn how to connect your body to your thoughts, emotions and inner life calling.

The goal is to transform YOU, not treat the disease. The disease may always be there but that does not mean you need to stay there with it.  I want you to have a renewed relationship with your body, mind and spirit, not the disease.
